We are pleased to invite You to take part in the 8th Marek Grechuta National Magic Song Festival for highly talented disabled vocalists, organized by Anna Dymna’s Fundation called ‘Against the Odds’ and Polish Televiosion S.A.
The competition is held in two age categories; children aged 10-16, and adults aged over 16. The vocally gifted disabled individuals who want to take part in the competition, should submit their applications together with recordings of their songs till 24 March, 2012. The jury will select 32 participants, 12 of whom will be selected as semifinalists on 5 May 2012 during the concert held in Łazienki Królewskie (Rogal Baths) in Warsaw. They will be invited to attend a vocal wokshop and take part in the finale. The Grand Finale will be held on 9th June in the central Marketplace in Cracow where the finalists will perform together with the Polish stage stars including Ania Wyszkoni and Artur Rojek. The winners will be awarded the Magic Bird Statues and scholarships for mastering their vocal skills.
